DO-IT-YOURSELF

We help Do-It-Yourselfers all the time. We have a system to make sure the job comes out looking good. Follow the guidelines below or call our office direct at 1-800-266-9291 and we'll send you the materials you need to get started and walk you through the process. We guarantee you'll get all the right materials for your project.

Vinyl Siding

If you plan to install vinyl siding on your home yourself, we can help. If you do the following, we can give you an exact cost for materials for the entire job:

  1. Make a drawing of each side of the house you want to install vinyl siding. The drawing doesn't need to be to scale, but we need accurate measurements.
  2. Draw in all openings, (windows and doors).
  3. Draw a footprint of your home (an outline of the floor plan).
  4. Fax (or mail) the drawings to us.

We will call you to clarify everything and give you an exact cost for all the materials, sales tax included, delivered to your home. Then we will send you an installation manual and walk you through the process as you do the work.

Just call us whenever you have a question or problem you can't resolve. If your measurements are accurate, we guarantee you will have enough materials for the job. If you need extra materials, we will deliver them to you at NO cost to you.

Replacement Windows

If you plan to replace your windows and patio doors yourself, we can help. Just call our office to discuss your specific situation. Then we can recommend the right type of window for you. After we have determined the right type of window for you, we will do the following:

  1. Measure your openings exactly so your windows fit correctly. (You can do this yourself, though).
  2. Deliver the windows to you with the necessary installation screws and caulking.
  3. Provide you with the correct tools to remove your existing windows without damaging your stucco, siding, or drywall.
  4. We can even install one window for you to teach you how to do it. Then you can do the rest by yourself.

Always choose a NARI Contractor

NARI stands for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. This is the only national trade organization committed to professionalism in the remodeling industry.

Choosing a NARI contractor is a smart decision. Here's why:

  1. In most cases, NARI attracts only conscientious contractors interested in bettering the industry and in weeding out transient, unethical contractors.
  2. NARI investigates the background and references of contractors before accepting them as members.
  3. All NARI members must sign a written code of ethics and pledge to professionalism. This code distinguishes a NARI remodeler from any other. It offers homeowners the assurance that the contractor will adhere to the highest standards of professionalism. I take this pledge seriously. See www.remodeltoday.com for the code of ethics.
